One of my friend got "Card Production Ordered" email. He is EB2-I, PD Jan 2006, RD- Sep 30 2007, NSC.
Mine is Dec 2005 and still waiting. So what is going on with NSC? Are they also doing the same thing that TSC is doing? latest cases first?

Don't make stupid statements like this. It goes to show your intelligence and that you are an instigator. With statements like that you will alienate EB3 more. BTW, I contributed to DC advocacy and many other EB3s also did the same. That money apparently seemed to have have helped EB2 and not EB3.

Did you file I-140/I-485 concurrently. Where is employer's office location? and your residency?
I have filed I-140/I-485 concurrently on July 25th at Nebraska, my employer and my residence come under Texas Service centre according to new direct filing instructions.
Mine is Eb 3..was sent to Nebraska, got there July 2, signed by R. Michaels at 9 am...Transfered to Texas,Received July 6...They sent me the Notice of Action for my 140 but I don't know anything else and I also sent at the same time 485-765 for my whole family...

Understand your point and agree too. But Monday is busy for everybody including me. I do want to participate and so are my other friends but Monday ior wednesday is just not good for us.
But other then that we can make it any day. I am sure more people will do it on Friday morning..
I recommend a Monday to a Friday. Most of the media/office folks will take friday off as well like you and me. Media will be fresh on monday and people will get good E fares to fly out into DC on Saturday and fly out on Monday night/Tuesday early morning (if at all some one comes out of town). Also forget the 1000 number. We can have a good impact if we have 300+ members and families. When you put a poll out there, have 2 options for sure
a) I will come to DC on any day at any cost to attend this rally.
b) I want to come but I dont know how it will work out, when the day comes.

you may see your struggles in a different light 10 years from now.

8/2: Infopass Appointment @ San Jose -- IO bought the file to the counter and asked for EVL and also a letter from company stating they support my I140.
I work for Top 5 company in Silicon valley. Company attorney got the required documents in 3 days. IO also generated FInger Printing appointment the same day.
8/11: Infopass Appointment @ San Jose -- Submitted the EVL and other documents given by the company. IO made copies of our Finger Printing notice.
8/19: Infopass Appointment @ San Jose -- Officer checked the status of our case and indicated visa number has been assigned. Files are with the same officer.

If you think it is that ridiculuous, then you should tell the core members that. They did ask us to call him on the last day of LD. There is nothing wrong in writing to him. In fact, you are making a comparison that is not correct.
Actually, it was an exceptional situation. As you are well aware of, we had to get an unanimous consent if the skil bill were to pass in the LD, so, we needed to have Session's approval. To deflect the situation, he just said that his office hadnt received any positive comments.. When we ended up jamming his phones and gave all the positive comments, what came out of that, nuthing.. he did not budge from his stance.. It was just a ploy and even if the entire US of A had called him, he would not have changed his stance.. He had to score brownie points from his supporters. He knows that the Skil bill will be passed next year, and may be some form of CIR even.. He can then blame it on the democrats and stand for re-election in 2009 with complete support from his supporters..
Its all a gimmick for votes. This is politics, same thing in every country, just more sophisticated here...

Most people have a lack of understanding of the situation. Things may not get better, things may get worse. EB3 is further retrogressing, EB2 will not move further, another market slump expected, more layoffs getting announced (though may not be in high skilled sector, layoffs does matter in decision making), companies running out of funds, body shoppers reducing salaries and increasing their cuts .......
If people start getting depressed, more depression will come, so better understand the situation and plan accordingly and learn to live with problems rather than getting depressed.

I agree with nousername and sledgehammer. It's funny how people justify unethical behavior by saying hey everybody is just trying to improve their own lives. Criminals are trying to improve their own life too and that doesn't excuse crime. The issue here is simple. This lady went for the quick and easy way out, applied for an H1B with some sleazy body shopper without having a project in hand and in the process, no doubt deprived someone better-deserving who actually had a job in hand.
Anyways, if you are not being paid, you are out of status. Best option for you is to apply for a COS to H4 right away so your out-of-status time doesn't come back to haunt you later. Without pay stubs it is doubtful that it will be approved so most probably you might have to go back to your home country and re-enter on an H4 stamp.
or if you are not getting paid you can complain to labor department. Your employer is that body shopper and he should pay you for the period of your h1. He has proved that he has capacity to pay you by filing for LCA and h1b. you having a project was never a condition for you getting paid from your employer. complain to labor department or USCIS if you are not getting paid.

Call USCIS and enquire about your card and also verify if your address in their system is correct. Also, get an appt with local USCIS office. All the best!!!
Called USCIS couple of times but I did not get the right response till now. They used to end the call abruptly.
But just now I called again, she told that they need to upload the Biometrics from CSC and she will do that. She told that I will get the card in 30 days...may be the regular time which they mention.
And she told not to take any Infopass appoitment and just to wait for 30 days.
