Most likely the check was deposited earlier, but his/her bank statement had a delay in updating. Sometimes, when the amount in the check is large, it goes through a review process by banks and so your bank statement will not update for a few days after the check was actually deposited.

All officials have talked about processing 60k visas in a month to avoid visas going waste.
None was honest enough to say the unused visas expire on 09/30 NOT 06/30.

2. US born kids (at least they are citizens, if that's important to you)
Not married no kids
3. US education (a different experience for sure)
No us education
4. Good savings (all said and done, your bank balance is very important no matter where you stay in the world)
No savings no big salary
5. Good work experience (this is transferable and more or less ensures a decent future)

6. Loving/caring family/friends (who will always love you the same and couldn't care less about GC or citizenship)

Plain and simple question, are you a donor or a volunteer.. if yes.. then you must be aware of
the different initiatives that IV has taken up for EB3, which I guess you are not aware of.
As you don't want to donate or volunteer what makes you think that you can tell IV on what to do and what not to do.. Are you even associated in anyways.
I have never ever seen such a big thankless following of a group. Everyone is in trouble and everyone has problem but cannot donate.
Wanted to write a lot more , but I think its not worth it. I just hope your conscious makes you feel ashamed of this attitude of yours.

My intention was more to think in right way and discourage potential -ve result bound strategies.
During presidential campaign there were all over promises on clearing backlogs, we can go on that basis and make a point of that.
One thing is clear if they like to stop outsourcing sure they have to encourage and stream line legal immigration they cannot stop or survive but cutting outsourcing as well leaving this legal immigration in limbo.
Besides what we can do at this juncture, keep our voices heard by contacting, writing letters.
1. In a world leading country processing a decade back applications is not an encouraging trend to legal immigration, this may send a wrong signal to legal immigration over illegal immigration.

In addition to completing the action item, set up an appointment with my Congressman for the week after next to push for this provision.
As stated by the more experienced folks involved with this initiative, the bottomline is that any action item should be accompanied by a grass roots effort where all our members should meet with the local congressmen/congresswoman to push for our provisions (in this case visa recapture). Coordinated action items and phone campaigns always help but we should not wait for an action item to talk to the lawmaker offices in our local districts.
As stated by the more experienced folks involved with this initiative, the bottomline is that any action item should be accompanied by a grass roots effort where all our members should meet with the local congressmen/congresswoman to push for our provisions (in this case visa recapture). Yep, I want to predict what USCIS may do,,, not what I want USCIS to do :)
The priority dates or per country limit does not matter for USCIS right now. My prediction is USCIS currently must be working on the following reconciliations in order to avoid duplicating visa numbers and wasting visa numbers. Unless USCIS have the correct number of visa requirements, the dates will not move forward.
Reconciliations
1. Converted or converting cases from EB3 to EB2
2. Two Sets of applications from the same family ( Husband and Wife)
3. I-140 from multiple employer for the same applicant (Both Hunsband and wife).
4. Two different Alien numbers.
5. The cases stuck in the name check and realased becaues of 180 days memo
Once everything is sorted out...its going to be one click away for USCIS to adjusdicate the cases. If DOS moves the dates before USCIS sorting out the above, they are inviting a law suits or Mandamus writ due to outside of processing time. Now USCIS is having breathing time by keeping the priority date backward. Probably, after all the reconciliations, unused visa numbers may be recaptured

I got my EAD today...Even i received my EAD also...Mine is sent to NSC on july 2nd...I received EAD's from Texas Center...I think my application was transferred to Texas...I have approved I-140 from Texas...Are receipt numbers for EAD, 485, AP are in serial? I haven't received receipts yet...I filled G-28...my attorney did not receive my receipts...I don't know what is going on...
